Quarterback Max Johnson finalized his paperwork with the Tigers. Johnson joins TJ Finnley as one of two quarterbacks set to join the Tigers this period. Son of Super Bowl winner and two-time Pro Bowler Brad Johnson, Max is the 10th-ranked pro-style quarterback and 27th player in the state of Georgia. Johnson held offers from Ohio State, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia and more. His decision to join the Tigers was a bit of a surprise given his dad’s ties to Florida State, and that his uncle is Mark Richt, who was still coaching at Miami when Johnson made his commitment to the Tigers.
