LSU to Face Clemson for National Championship

East Coast Tigers hold off Ohio State and will meet us in New Orleans.

The LSU Tigers will take on the Clemson Tigers in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans for the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday night, January 13 at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

Clemson clinched their spot in the title game with a 29-23 win over Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl following LSU’s blowout win over Oklahoma on Saturday.

Clemson, of course, are the defending champs after housing Alabama 44-16 following the 2018 season, and have won two of the last three national titles, all against Bama.

Should be a helluva party, and one of the toughest tickets New Orleans has ever seen.
