LSU kept a blue-chip in-state product home, as Ray Parker signed his National Letter of Intent to make it official with the Tigers on National Signing Day. Most believed Parker would not make it into LSU’s class, but some late re-shuffling opened a spot.
Parker, who’s the 11th ranked prospect in the state, is the 16th ranked offensive tackle in the 247 Composite. Out of Ruston High School, he’s from Ruston, Louisiana, and LSU beat out schools like Arizona State, Florida, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Texas and Texas A&M for his signature.
With LSU bringing back the majority of the offensive line, he’ll likely be a candidate for a red shirt this year, but will provide talent for the future.
