The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made one of smartest picks in the 2019 NFL Draft tonight, taking Devin White with the fifth pick in first round.
White led the Tigers in tackles in 2018 and became the first Butkus Award winner in school history. Now he joins the long history of Tiger defenders to get drafted in the top 10. He’ll step right in to replace another former Tiger, as Kwon Alexander left the Bucs to sign with San Francisco this offseason.
Congrats to Devin, one of the greatest to ever done the purple and gold.
And let Daisy Mae fire the cannons Tampa.
