LSU hoops got some big news on Saturday with Javonte Smart’s announcement that he’s removed his name from 2019 NBA Draft consideration and will return to school for his sophomore year.
Smart started 18 games last season for LSU and averaged 11.1 points. 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. He also scored 29 points in the Tigers’ upset of fifth-ranked Tennessee.
It appears that Naz Reid and Tremont Waters are sticking to their NBA guns, but in light of the Will Wade suspension ending, the Christian Dawkins trial ending with a wet fart, and the possibility of five-star power forward Trendon Watford committing tomorrow, things continue to look up for Tiger hoops.
