Will Wade met with the media for the first time since his suspension late in the 2019 basketball season over alleged involvement in the Christian Dawkins college basketball corruption case.
Wade was in Destin, Fla. as part of the SEC conference meetings this week.
But regardless of the “tough questions” from Yahoo! Sports, Wade has plenty of reasons to smile this week — while Naz Reid and Tremont Waters will stick with the NBA Draft, LSU’s Skylar Mays, Emmitt Williams and Marlon Taylor all announced plans to return.
The three, along with guard Javonte Smart, decided to test the NBA process while Wade’s status was up in the air. With that foursome, plus five-star recruit Trendon Watford arriving, the 2019-20 Tigers should be well set up to compete in the SEC again.
