Major Burns Commits to LSU

Tigers pick up pledge from local defensive back prospect.

Ed Orgeron added the 16th member of the 2020 recruiting class today with Baton Rouge’s own Major Burns:

Burns, out of Madison Prep, is a 6-2, 176-pound defensive back prospect and a composite four-star recruit. He is the No. 4 overall prospect in the state of Louisiana, and though he is listed as a safety by the recruiting services, LSU has been recruiting him at cornerback.

Burns was previously committed to Texas A&M, but decommitted in March. He also picked up offers from Miami, Florida and Oklahoma.
