The SEC announced scheduling arrangements for the 2020 football season today, notably moving the annual late-November Auburn-Georgia announcement. LSU’s trip to Jordan-Hare will now take place that weekend.
LSU’s schedule sets up as follows:
Sept. 5 UT-SAN ANTONIO
Sept. 12 TEXAS
Sept. 19 vs. Rice (in Houston – NRG Stadium)
Sept. 26 OLE MISS
Oct. 3 NICHOLLS STATE
Oct. 10 at Florida
Oct. 17 at Arkansas
Oct. 24 MISSISSIPPI STATE
Oct. 31 Open Date
Nov. 7 ALABAMA
Nov. 14 SOUTH CAROLINA
Nov. 21 at Auburn
Nov. 28 at Texas A&M
Back-to-back road games to end the regular season, and an open date on Halloween — a perfect time to play Ole Miss if there ever was some.
Figures that the SEC would prioritize some schools’ wishes over others, right?
Right after we discuss how manageable the Tigers’ 2019 schedule is, it seems we were punished for our hubris.
