The rate of our ascension makes statisticians feel sickly.

Accountants, they get snippy, they never counted so quickly.

We’re past the three week mark in the season and it’s fair to say that so far, the season has been a rousing success.

The Tigers are 3-0 behind a revamped and effective offense and a defense that’s behind the norm, but still top tier. Joe Burrow is a legitimate Heisman candidate and Grant Delpit is probably a better player overall. LSU is undefeated and Texas fans are still salty about it.

All is well, right?

While they laugh and shake their head, still we coming in

Now the people know where we go, go, go.

All is well. But at the same time, LSU hasn’t been challenged much outside of Texas. Starting this week moving forward, that will change.

The Tigers open SEC play tomorrow, and with all the challenges that come with it. LSU needs to win the SEC before they can focus on winning anything else, and the first hurdle in that stretch is here.

Don’t overlook Vandy. This game counts the same as Texas A&M and Alabama. All the improvements would be for naught if LSU drops this game.

Get in, take care of business, and get out. We’ve worked out the sea legs, now it’s time to run.

I just hit my rhythm, boy.

This is not your tempo, boy.
