The sky is falling

After dropping its second game in three weeks, LSU (1-2) has fallen all the way out of the AP Top-25, becoming the first defending champion since 2011 Auburn to be unranked.

This is hardly a surprising result of Saturday’s 45-41 loss to the Missouri Tigers. LSU is a bad team and bad teams don’t deserve to be ranked in any poll.

LSU has fallen from defending national champs to “others receiving votes” and is barely getting any votes at the moment. LSU got five votes and have 19 other teams ahead of them in the others group.

The rest of the AP Poll is as follows.

  1. Clemson (4-0)
  2. Alabama (3-0)
  3. Georgia (3-0)
  4. Notre Dame (3-0)
  5. North Carolina (3-0)
