Ed Orgeron picked up commit number 19 in the class of 2021, flipping Catholic Of Pointe Coupee safety Matthew Langlois from K-State to the Tigers.
A 247 composite three-star recruit, the New Orleans native Langlois held offers from Notre Dame, Missississippi State, Vanderbilt, Arizona and Virginia, among others. The 19th ranked player in the state, Langlois is becomes the third defensive back commit for the group joining corner Nathaniel Wiggins and safety Khari Gee.
As of the commitment, the Tigers class ranks 5th nationally according to 247 sports, and second in the SEC.
Although the class is still filling up, the Tigers still seem to be well positioned with five-star recruits Korey Foreman, Tristan Leigh, Maason Smith, and Sage Ryan.
