Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in LSU Tigers fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

The 2019 LSU football team set records on its way to immortality as the greatest team in college football history. The 2020 LSU football team is also setting records but for...well, other reasons.

After taking the worst beating in the history of the LSU-Auburn series, confidence in the direction of the program amongst LSU fans has hit a record low. Only 21 percent (!!!) of readers said they confident in Ed Orgeron’s Tigers. That’s a 59 percent drop between the South Carolina game and the Auburn game.

Normally, 21 is a good number. You can purchase the devil’s nectar at 21, or win automatically when playing blackjack. In this case, however, 21 is a decidedly not good number.

And—what’s that? *puts hand to ear* folks I’m getting word that LSU now has to play Alabama this Saturday? Wonderful. Surely that will be the college football equivalent of Ivan Drago vs. Apollo Creed.

Is it possible to have literally zero percent confidence? Stay tuned as the 2020 Tigers try to make history.
