Good morning, welcome to week 15 of the NFL season.
LSU’s football season came to a close with a wild 53-48 win over the Rebels and the NFL season is also reaching its end point. The long, cold winter of no football is on our doorsteps.
There were two games on Saturday, Buffalo put the smackdown on Denver, while Green Bay kept the train rolling with a 24-16 win over Carolina. Tre’Davious White had a strong game for Buffalo picking up a sack, a tackle for loss and two pass deflections and the Bills won their first AFC East Division title since, wait for it...1995.
Go Bills. Go Tre’White. And go Reid Ferguson.
On to this week’s games.
BUCCANEERS vs. FALCONS, 12:00 P.M., FOX
Leonard Fournette is maybe the best, most talented running back to ever wear the purple and gold...and yet Russell Gage is having the better professional career. I never would have believed it.
49ERS vs. COWBOYS, 12:00 P.M., CBS
This game was originally the Sunday Night game on NBC but injuries to both the Niners and Cowboys have rendered this game borderline unwatchable. And since there’s no LSU players on either side you don’t have to watch it!
LIONS vs. TITANS, 12:00 P.M., CBS
Kristian Fulton has had just an okay season his first year with the Titans: 15 tackles, a pick and a pass break up. Maybe Matt Stafford lobs a few his way.
TEXANS vs. COLTS, 12:00 P.M., CBS
Skip!
PATRIOTS vs. DOLPHINS, 12:00 P.M., CBS
What were you doing in 2008? That was the last time New England didn’t win the AFC East.
BEARS vs. VIKINGS, 12:00 P.M., FOX
The cool thing about this week is two key parts of LSU’s 2019 team will return to the Superdome. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, now with Kansas City, plays the Saints this afternoon and Justin Jefferson will play in the Dome on Christmas.
SEAHAWKS vs. WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM, 12:00 P.M., FOX
Jamal Adams set the single season record for sacks among defensive backs with 8.5 last week. Seems pretty good.
JAGUARS vs. RAVENS, 12:00 P.M., CBS
It’s football.
JETS vs. RAMS 3:05 P.M., FOX
This is allegedly football.
EAGLES vs. CARDINALS, 3:05 P.M., FOX
Jalen Hurts is going to screw New Orleans out of the No. 1 seed in the NFC I hate everything.
CHIEFS vs. SAINTS, 3:25 P.M., CBS
Hell yeah.
BROWNS vs. GIANTS 7:20 P.M., NBC
Remember Colt McCoy? He’s still in the NFL and he’s starting for the Giants! Keep getting those checks, Colt!
Also this would have been the Odell Beckham revenge game but sadly that will have to wait another four years due to OBJ’s season-ending ACL injury.
STEELERS vs. BENGALS, Monday December 21, 7:15 P.M., ESPN
Whatever.
