LSU missed out on a big-time defensive line prospect in Lucedale, Mississippi’s McKinnley Jackson, who signed with Texas A&M.
The Tigers pursued the four-star Jackson hard to the end, with a recruitment that included Texas A&M and Alabama.
Jackson committed to LSU early on in his high school career but re-opened the process as his stock rose. He is No. 9 defensive tackle in the country and the top player in Mississippi for the 2020 cycle.
