The Joe Burrow Touchdown Bracket Round of 32: Day 10

What was the best Joe Burrow touchdown of 2019? We’re asking you, the reader, to decide

NCAA Football: Louisiana State at Alabama John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

We move on to the second matchup of the Get The Nat region. No Nats were gotten by either of these plays, but a heavy dose of memes were!

No. 2: Ja’Marr Chase’s 33 yard pantsing of Trevon Diggs

Why it should advance:

If cyberbullying was illegal then Trevon Diggs could probably get this website shut down. If in-person bullying was illegal then Ja’Marr Chase would be in prison without parole.

Even though we were well adjusted to this speedy new offense, it still felt like it wouldn’t be legitimate if it didn’t succeed against Alabama. LSU had only scored a single touchdown the last three times they faced this defense, so the pressure was on instantly. LSU made the opening drive touchdown a casual achievement, managing the feat nine times. But this one hit different.

I don’t really even need to talk about Burrow’s pocket presence or Chase’s incredible adjustment, y’all get it. This play speaks for itself.

No. 10 Terrace Marshall’s 2 yard catch against Oklahoma

Why it should advance:

On paper this one may seem hopeless, but stop and remember that this was Joe Burrow’s SEVENTH touchdown pass in the FIRST HALF of a PLAYOFF game! Y’ALL!!!

It’s a real nice play, we stan our RPO-running offense. But this is all about the comedy.
