The DBU class of 2021 landed another addition in safety Khari Gee. Coming out of Atlanta, Gee is the 11th commit for the class of 2021 and along with Zavier Carter, the second prospect from Georgia.

247 composite rates Gee as the 18th ranked safety and 28th prospect in the state of Georgia. He is also a baseball prospect, but it seems he is becoming more invested in football. For comparison, Gee has a grade of six out of ten on his Perfect Game profile. Maurice Hampton was a ten out of ten.

Right now he is listed at safety, but one of his high school coaches believed that he could add more weight to play as a coverage linebacker.

LSU beat out Clemson, Florida State, Michigan and others.

Gee is the second defensive back commitment along with Dakota Mitchell. Both are listed as safeties so adding a corner is still on the to do list for this cycle. The No. 2 corner GaQuincy McKinstry recently named LSU in his top-five, but McKinstry is out of Alabama and favored to land with one of the two home teams.
