Today is June 5. 6/5 on the calendar.

Did you know Joe Burrow accounted for 65 touchdowns in the 2019 season? According to you, our loyal And The Valley Shook readership, we have now crowned the best one.

DJ... hit it!

Despite only being No. 9 out of 65 on the year, Justin Jefferson’s 61-yard touchdown on 3rd and 17 against Texas was the runaway winner of the bracket.

Runaway might not even be a strong enough term to describe 3rd and 17’s run through this tournament. In the six matchups it was part of, it took 1,280 of 1,568 votes counted. That’s 82 percent of total possible votes and frankly I’m surprised it only got 82 percent.

3rd and 17 made LSU a national title contender, put Burrow squarely in the Heisman conversation and has now cemented itself, as voted on by you, the best Joe Burrow touchdown of 2019.

Thank you for joining us on this 65-day ride. Until next time...
