LSU’s 2021 recruiting class is a consensus top-five unit and the 2022 class, also ranked in the top-five, was bolstered over the weekend with the commitment of four-star corner JaDarian Rhym.
Rhym, out of the talent-rich state of Georgia, is a top-150 player and No. 19 at his position. He’s LSU’s lone corner in the class, but joins a secondary that has the No. 4 (Bryce Anderson) and No. 5 (Bryan Allen Jr.) safeties in America committed.
Rhym gives LSU eight commits in its 2022 class. It’s currently ranked second in the 247 composite, trailing only Ohio State.
LSU also has 100 percent crystal ball projections to add two more corners, Khamauri Rodgers a four-star from Mississippi, and Laterrance Welch, a four-star from Acadiana.
