SEC Tournament Open Thread: Quarterfinal Round

Tigers play Rebels in the final game of Friday night

NCAA Basketball: SEC Conference Tournament-Press Conference Steve Roberts-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to day three of the SEC men’s basketball tournament. Your Tigers of LSU along with regular season champs Alabama, surging Arkansas and Tennessee who is...there finally get to take the floor as we head into championship Sunday.

(1) Alabama vs. (9) Mississippi State, 12:00 P.M., ESPN

State ended Kentucky’s season, which is just as good as winning the tournament, right?

(4) Tennessee vs. (5) Florida, 2:00 P.M., ESPN

Florida very nearly gave yesterday’s game against Vanderbilt away, robbing us of a truly ELECTRIC Vanderbilt-Tennessee game. Neither the Gators nor the Vols are playing well as of late so I can’t make heads or tails of this game. But I do know one thing, the winner of this game ends up being the loser because they’ll get smoked by Alabama on Saturday.

(2) Arkansas vs. (7) Missouri, 7:00 P.M., SEC Network

I picked Arkansas to win the tournament. But I also said if any team that was going to win the tournament despite not getting the double-bye would be Missouri. I look forward to seeing which galaxy brain idea of mine absorbs the other.

(3) LSU vs. (6) Ole Miss 9:00 P.M., SEC Network
