Former LSU basketball player Daryl Edwards was seriously injured in an accident last week. Edwards broke both his legs, right elbow, vertebrae and lower spine after being hit by a drunk driver. Local media in Houston where the accident occurred say a woman was killed and three others were injured in addition to Edwards.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help Daryl with his injuries. It is embedded below, and you can also visit the page here.
Edwards played at LSU from 2017-19 after transferring from Northwest Florida State College. He played in 41 games with 16 starts and averaged 6.2 points per game. He was granted a medical redshirt and transferred to UTSA for the 2019-20 season. According to the GoFund Me, Edwards has had plans to play professionally overseas.
Please please please do not drink and drive. It is not worth it.
