Jabril Cox lasted longer in the 2021 NFL Draft than anyone could have imagined, but his wait ended in the fourth round as the Dallas Cowboys selected him 115th overall.
Cox, a grad transfer from North Dakota State, did a little bit of everything in his one year in Baton Rouge. Cox finished third on the team in tackles with 58, 6.5 tackles for loss, and a sack. He also intercepted three passes and returned two for touchdowns.
Before arriving at LSU, Cox was one of the top defensive players in the FCS with the Bison. He won three FCS national championships and was a two-time FCS All-American.
Cox is the third Tiger to hear his name called in the NFL Draft. Ja’Marr Chase was selected fifth overall by Cincinnati and Terrace Marshall slid to the backend of the second round before being picked 59th by Carolina.
