Adam Miller Transferring to LSU

Former Illinois guard will play for Will Wade and the Tigers next season

Will Wade’s efforts to rebuild his roster got some serious juice over the weekend.

Rising sophomore Adam Miller, formerly of Illinois, announced on his Twitter he would be transferring to LSU. He’ll be immediately eligible for the Tigers.

Miller was the No. 33 overall prospect in the 2020 recruiting class and the No. 6 point guard. Miller started every game for an Illinois team that won the Big 10 tournament and earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Miller averaged eight points per game as a freshman and had 13 games scoring 10 or more. He went off for 28 in his first career game.

Miller was one of the top players to put their name in the transfer portal. CBS’s David Cobb had Miller as the second best player on the market.

Wade had said he’ll look to the transfer market to fill out his roster and that’s exactly been the case. Miller is the third player to transfer to LSU, joining Missouri’s Xavier Pinson and Cincinnati’s Tari Eason.
