College football is officially off and running as a handful of games were held last Saturday during week 0.
The rest of the programs will get to join in on the fun between Thursday and Labor Day. Football is back as is putting a little something something on games if ya know what I’m saying.
SB Nation is partnered with the online sportsbook DraftKings and with sports betting slowly but surely being legalized across the nation, including Louisiana, I’m going to bring you the lines for all the SEC games each and every week.
Lines as of August 30. Games not listed on DraftKings: Eastern Illinois vs. South Carolina; East Tennessee State vs. Vanderbilt
Bowling Green vs. Tennessee (Thursday September 2)
Spread: Tennessee -35.5 (-105); Bowling Green +35.5 (-115)
Over/Under: 61 (-105 over, -115 under)
Moneyline: Not listed
The Volunteers are the first SEC team out of the gate with a Thursday night game against Bowling Green. Things have been...less than great on Rocky Top in recent years but perhaps new head man Josh Heupel can get the Vols back to respectability.
ULM vs. Kentucky
Spread: Kentucky -29.5 (-110); ULM +110 (-110)
Over/Under: 55 (-110 either way)
Moneyline: ULM (+2200); Kentucky (-6500)
There’s some people out there who think this is the year for Kentucky. And by “the year” I mean the year they finish second in the East. It all starts Saturday against the Warhawks who may be the worst program in D1.
Rice vs. Arkansas
Spread: Arkansas -19.5 (-110)
Over/Under: 51.5 (-120 under, +100 over)
Moneyline: Rice (+750); Arkansas (-1250)
Arkansas has an absolutely brutal 2021 schedule and this will be one of the few games they’ll be favored in.
Alabama vs. Miami
Spread: Alabama -18.5 (-105); Miami +18.5 (-115)
Over/Under: 61 (-110 either way)
Moneyline: Bama (-1000); Miami (+600)
The only drama in this game will be if Alabama covers.
Central Michigan vs. Missouri
Spread: Missouri -14 (115); Central Michigan +14 (-105)
Over/Under: 60.5; (-110 either way)
Moneyline: Central Michigan (450), Missouri (-630)
LSU’s week three opponent isn’t as big an underdog as I would’ve thought. Maybe keep an eye on this game to get some early scouting in ahead of the Chippewas arrival on September 18.
Louisiana Tech vs. Mississippi State
Spread: Mississippi State -23 (-110); Louisiana Tech +23 (-110)
Over/Under: 52.5 (-110 either way)
Moneyline: Louisiana Tech (+1000); Mississippi State (-2000)
Tech open 2021 in Starkvegas where the dogs are 23 point dogs to the dogs.
Akron vs. Auburn
Spread: Auburn -36.5 (-110); Akron +36.5 (-110)
Over/Under: 55 (-115 over, -105 under)
Moneyline: Not listed
A pretty hideous game but not as grotesque as ETSU vs. Vandy or Eastern Illinois vs. Carolina.
Georgia vs. Clemson
Spread: Georgia +3 (+100), Clemson -3 (-120)
Over/Under: 51.5 (-110 either way)
Moneyline: Georgia (+140); Clemson (-160)
By far and away the best game of the week one slate. I can’t wait to watch this game. I can’t wait to bet on this game!
Kent State vs. Texas A&M
Spread: Texas A&M -28 (-115); Kent State +28 (-105)
Over/Under: 67 (-110 either way)
Moneyline: Kent State (+1800); Texas A&M (-4500)
Speaking of hideous games. This is a tuneup for the Aggies before they travel to take on the Buffs in Colorado. There’s a chance A&M is a betting favorite in every single game this year except Bama.
Florida Atlantic vs. Florida
Spread: Florida -23.5 (-105); Florida Atlantic +23.5 (-115)
Over/Under: 52.5 (Over -105, Under -115)
Moneyline: Florida (-2200); Florida Atlantic (+1100)
Florida continues their impressive streak of playing out of conference games inside the state. Go on the road cowards.
LSU vs. UCLA
Spread: LSU -3.5 (-110); UCLA +3.5 (-110)
Over/Under: 66 (-110 either way)
Moneyline: LSU (-165); UCLA (+145)

Louisville vs. Ole Miss (Monday September 6)
Spread: Ole Miss -10 (-110); Louisville +10 (-110)
Over/Under: 75.5 (-110 either way)
Moneyline: Louisville (+300); Ole Miss (-400)
I don’t necessarily like Ole Miss but I can’t deny they aren’t fun as hell to watch. I’ll absolutely be glued to the screen Labor Day night watching this game.
