Week 4 SEC Odds

Betting lines across the SEC slate of games as presented by DraftKings

NCAA Football: Georgia Southern at Arkansas Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports

Lines as of Wednesday

Teams on bye: Ole Miss

LSU vs. Mississippi State

Spread: LSU -2.5 (-110), Miss State +2.5 (-110)

Over/Under: 57 (-110 either way)

Moneyline: LSU (-135), Miss State (+115)

I’m sorry but LSU being a road favorite in a conference game is insane to me. Landon over at For Whom the Cowbell Tolls says LSU should be favored by a bigger margin than that but I suspect that’s him trying to throw a reverse jinx on LSU.

Georgia vs. Vanderbilt

Spread: Georgia -35.5 (-105), Vandy +35.5 (-115)

Over/Under: 52.5 (-110 either way)

Moneyline: None

That there is no moneyline listed on DraftKings shows you what they think of this game. Remember if you’re betting on a moneyline you’re betting on that team to win regardless if it’s by one point or 100. DraftKings is on the record of saying they don’t expect Vanderbilt to win and they’re not wrong

Missouri vs. Boston College

Spread: Mizzou -2 (-110), BC +2 (-110)

Over/Under: 58 (-110 either way)

Moneyline: Mizzou (-125), BC (+105)

Missouri vs. Boston College is a game I’d expect to see played in the middle of Bowl Season, not week four of the regular season. A weird matchup gets a fittingly weird two-point spread in favor for Mizzou.

Texas A&M vs. Arkansas

Spread: A&M -5.5 (-110), Arkansas +5.5 (-110)

Over/Under: 47 (Over -115, Under -105)

Moneyline: A&M (-220), Arkansas (+180)

Hogs??????

Georgia State vs. Auburn

Spread: Georgia State +27 (-110), Auburn -27 (-110)

Over/Under: 57 (-110 either way)

Moneyline: Georgia State (+1600), Auburn (-3800)

This is pretty much the only good thing about the superconference road we’re on. The sooner we can get rid of games like these, especially in the middle of the season, the better.

Tennessee vs. Florida

Spread: Tennessee +18.5 (-105), Florida -18.5 (-115)

Over/Under: 63 (-110 either way)

Moneyline: Tennessee (+750), Florida (-1200)

I live in Nashville now and Vol fans would be psyched if they cover this spread.

Kentucky vs. South Carolina

Spread: Kentucky -5 (-105), South Carolina +5 (-115)

Over/Under: 48.5 (Over-115, Under +105)

Moneyline: Kentucky (-210), Tennessee (+175)

While LSU being a road favorite makes no sense to me, I can see why the guys in Vegas would make Kentucky a favorite. Being favored by less than a touchdown but more than a field goal perfectly describes Kentucky football in 2021.

Southern Miss vs. Alabama

Spread: Souther Miss -45.5 (-120), Alabama +45.5 (+100)

Over/Under: 58.5 (Over -105, Under -115)

Moneyline: Not listed

Like the Georgia game, our friends at DraftKings can’t even imagine a scenario where Southern Miss straight up beats Alabama. Though +100 on a 45.5 spread isn’t the worst bet you could make.
