NFLSU Week 13 Recap

Great week to be Ja’Marr Chase and Derek Stingley Jr.

While the college football regular season has wrapped up, many LSU alumni are still battling for their playoff lives. Let’s check in on an exciting Week 13 to see how our guys did.

Seahawks 35 at Cowboys 41

Jamal Adams had ten tackles and one ugly Twitter spat on the weekend. Damone Clark had four tackles. Damien Lewis guarded.

NFLSU Score: 4/10

Chargers 6 at Patriots 0

Jalen Mills and Davon Godchaux each had three tackles. Will Clapp played every snap at center. I can’t believe this is a real final score.

NFLSU Score: 2/10

Cardinals 24 at Steelers 10

BJ Ojulari had three tackles. Patrick Peterson played but did not record any stats.

NFLSU Score: 2/10

Lions 33 at Saints 28

Foster Moreau caught two passes for 28 yards. Tyrann Mathieu had one tackle.

NFLSU Score: 3/10

Colts 31 at Titans 28 (OT)

Arden Key and Kristian Fulton each had one tackle. Key got half credit for a sack.

NFLSU Score: 3/10

Broncos 17 at Texans 22

Last week I declared Derek Stingley Jr. arrived. This week he doubled down on his arrival... by literally doubling his interception total!

Here’s the first one where he makes a nice play on a tipped pass:

And here’s the second one, which is an absurdly ridiculous play that only a truly elite CB can make.

He’s the real deal folks.

Lloyd Cushenberry III also blocked, in case you wanted more.

NFLSU Score: 8/10

Falcons 13 at Jets 8

NFLSU Score: 0/10

Dolphins 45 at Commanders 15

Duke Riley was tied for a team-high eight tackles. Awesome! Blake Ferguson was also present.

NFLSU Score: 2/10

Panthers 18 at Buccaneers 21

DJ Chark caught three passes for 56 yards. Stephen Sullivan and Trey Palmer both caught exactly one pass for 13 yards. Weird! Donte Jackson had two tackles and two pass breakups, while Deion Jones had two tackles. Devin White was out with an injury.

Bucs RB Rachaad White did not go to LSU, but he played with Jayden Daniels at Arizona State, so he is doing the Lord’s work.

Hell yeah dude. You’re good with us.

NFLSU Score: 8/10

49ers 42 at Eagles 19

Still no snaps for Ty Davis-Price. The Niners probably didn’t expect to win by 23 and they maybe would’ve activated him if they did!

NFLSU Score: 0/10

Browns 19 at Rams 36

Grant Delpit had four tackles. Joe Flacco became the FIFTH quarterback to take snaps from Ethan Pocic in less than two full seasons in Cleveland. The Browns will never change.

NFLSU Score: 3/10

Chiefs 19 at Packers 27

Clyde Edwards-Helaire had two carries for six yards and one catch for eight yards.

NFLSU Score: 2/10

Bengals 34 at Jaguars 31 (OT)

No Joe Burrow, but you wouldn’t know it by the box score! Ja’Marr Chase had a monster game with 11 catches for 149 yards, and this massive touchdown.

After catching passes from only Joe Burrow for the last six years, a lot of people probably figured Chase would struggle playing with a lesser QB with less accurate passes, but he proved us wrong!

K’Lavon Chaisson had two tackles. In addition to the loss it was a bummer night for the Jags as Trevor Lawrence went down with an injury too. What was supposed to be a Monday night battle between two playoff teams quarterbacked by college champions ended with neither guy playing. This has been an objectively shitty NFL season unless it magically ends with a Lions Super Bowl.

NFLSU Score: 7/10
