Stop me when you’ve heard this one before, but an Ohio State cornerback is transferring to LSU.

After Sevyn Banks transferred in 2022 and JK Johnson followed suit in 2023, former Buckeye now Tiger Jyaire Brown announced he too would be headed to Baton Rouge.

Brown is a New Orleans native who moved to the Cincinnati area his senior year of high school. Brown was a four-star prospect coming out of high school and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Brown played a lot as a freshman in 2022. He appeared in nine games and was credited with eight tackles, broke up three passes, and forced a fumble. An ankle injury this season limited Brown to just four games.

As for who Brown’s position coach will be that remains to be seen. There’s smoke as to Corey Raymond possibly coming back home, but nothing’s been announced at the time of this writing.
